The journey behind the work

One step at a time, with people at the centre.

How faith, medicine, education, migration, and family responsibility met — and became Oneness.

Dr. Syed Hussain Fayaz in a social impact founder interview

Founder journey, Toronto

Dr. Syed Hussain Fayaz founded Oneness from the meeting point of faith, medicine, education, migration, and family responsibility.

As a physician and educator navigating a new country, he saw capable healthcare professionals struggling to translate years of learning into meaningful contribution. The first response was simple: listen, guide, connect, and build what was missing together.

Since then, the work has grown through classrooms, community tables, partnerships, research questions, family life, and a continuing search for how people can live with purpose without being reduced to status, appearance, income, or a single measure of success.
